Annie proudly knows all the lyrics to Joni Mitchell’s album Blue. When she’s not writing, you can find her reading about intersectionality, drinking Lorelai-Gilmore-levels of coffee, and exploring the world.

A 2017 graduate from McGill University with a B.A. in Hispanic studies and political science, Annie is fascinated by learning languages, storytelling, and promoting human rights. She aims to write honestly about “women’s issues” and to explore the linkages between creative arts and international relations.

Annie is now the social media lead for the International Peace Institute (IPI), working on graphic design and digital marketing strategy for an international audience.

Feminist Millennial (FM) was initially created to share travel stories, photos, and tips from living in Madrid, Montreal, and Manhattan. Now, FM is as an outlet to share research and opinions on politics, pop culture, and literature, and to spark discussions on intersectional feminism in the modern day.
